We visited five kindergartens and preschools across Mykonos, meeting the island’s youngest ocean ambassadors!

The children welcomed us with incredible enthusiasm, eager to discover the secrets of the underwater world through our educational program. Their curiosity was endless! They wanted to learn everything about marine animals, and their excitement reached new heights when Katerina Topouzoglou showed them real shark teeth that she had found naturally, while explaining the important role these often misunderstood predators play in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems.

The most heartwarming part? Our young friends amazed us with their creativity! They put the principles of the circular economy into practice by creating wonderful crafts from waste materials and packaging they had collected from their homes.

A huge thank you to the teachers and children for their warm hospitality and positive energy at the schools we visited:
• Omvrodektis Municipal Nursery School
• Marathi Kindergarten
• Saita Preschool
• Ftelia Kindergarten
• “Modern Education” Kindergarten
This initiative was implemented in collaboration with the South Aegean Region and with the support of Royal Caribbean.
