Santorini was the next stop for All For Blue, in a mission that combined environmental education with meaningful action for the protection of the marine environment.

A total of 1,089 students from the island participated in our educational programs, while 387 middle school students attended our marine biologists’ seminar on the protection of marine ecosystems and sharks. In parallel, visits took place at 8 kindergartens, where author Katerina Tsantali read her book “A Sea of Plastics” to the children.
The mission concluded with 3 coastal and underwater cleanups, removing a significant amount of waste from the island’s beaches and seabed. The initiative was carried out under a zero-waste footprint protocol, while all collected litter was recorded in an international database.

We sincerely thank the local educational community and especially the Deputy Mayor of Education, Mr. Nikos Katsipis, for their valuable support and collaboration.

The action was implemented with the support of the South Aegean Region and Royal Caribbean Group.
