Cleanup at Litochoro

Another successful annual beach cleanup initiative held by our volunteer team in Litochoro. Students from both the 1st and the 3rd high schools of Litochoro, alongside their teachers Mr. Sioula, Mrs. Gavri, and Mrs. Fargani, collaborated to clean the Mylos area beach in Plaka Litochoro.

Once again, the team gathered a substantial amount of litter, with the students particularly amazed by the multitude of discarded shoes discovered. As expected, single-use plastics and styrofoam remained prevalent, mirroring last year’s findings.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the students, teachers, and Mrs. Lambrou for their efforts in organizing and executing this meaningful initiative.
