More than 880 students aged 6-12 from Primary schools in Lardos, Pylonas, Lindos, Malonas, Massari, Gennadi, and Archangelos participated in All For Blue’s educational seminar. They delved into the amazing world of ocean creatures, discovered the threats they face, and learned how humans can protect the ocean.

But the action didn’t stop there. Students from Gennadi Primary School, armed with newfound knowledge, took on a mission to clean Gennadi Beach. Scuba divers from Waterhoppers dive center and freedivers, including Mr. Ap. Bellos, Director of the World Freediving Federation, Mr. D. Koumoulos, coach of the national freediving team, and Ms. K. Topouzoglou, founder of All For Blue, undertook the underwater cleanup. The team removed a total of 139 kg of debris from the beach and the seafloor. Among the items they collected were fishing gear, pieces of metal, building materials, a car tire, and even two sets of weights that the freedivers used in their upcoming competitions!

We would like to thank all of the participants and All For Blue volunteers for their support in our mission. Thank you to Mr. S. Tsirakakis & Ms. S. Spanou (people&people caf) for providing accommodation to All For Blue volunteers, and to Mr. K. Skoulas for kindly coordinating transportation for the students.

The TUI Junior Academy program is conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and CMAS, the world freediving federation.
