For the second consecutive year, a cleanup action was carried out with the contribution of Kyriakidis-Georgopoulos law firm. The partners of the company, gathered on Sunday morning at the beach of Agios Spyridonas in Porto Rafti to participate in the coastal cleanup together with the team of All For Blue and several volunteers, including many children. The result was the removal of 40 kg of litter, 16 kg less than last year’s results.
They chose the exact same beach as the one they cleaned last year, wanting to see any differences that emerged over the course of a year. The image of the beach one year later was similar to the image of the beach before last year’s cleanup. Among the litter removed from the beach were diapers and baby wipes, as well as pacifiers, plastic bags, and single-use plastics. A protective mobile phone screen was found as well.
The company’s personnel were enthusiastic about their second participation in a coastal cleanup under the auspices of All For Blue. After the action, the participants drank a cool beverage and enjoyed a meal with a view of the endless blue.
