On 3rd of April, the All For Blue team visited the Special Education Primary School for the deaf and partially deaf of Pefki. Katerina Topouzoglou, the founder of the organization, gave a presentation to 27 children between the ages of 6 and 12, along with their teachers, on the issue of plastic pollution and its harmful impact on marine life, particularly sharks.

The presentation was translated into sign language with the help of the school teachers. The children showed great interest in sea animals and participated enthusiastically in the presentation. At the end of the seminar, they received certificates of attendance.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to the teachers for their valuable assistance and Garnier for supporting our actions. In collaboration with the international organization “Save My Fins,” we shared shark drawings and information about white and hammerhead sharks with the students. Subsequently, the children made a joint drawing which we received with great pleasure.

This educational activity successfully raised awareness and motivated the children to participate in a coastal cleanup. We are thrilled to have their support and cooperation in this initiative. Together, we will work towards a cleaner and healthier ocean.
