OFSE Syros Team made its 5th Mission in Kimolos, a small island of Cyclades, the weekend from 12 to 14 April 2019.
As always, we started with a beach & underwater cleanup of the island, by members of the Syros Team, the organization #AllForBlue and a representative of the volunteer group Kimolistes who guided our members to the beaches. Cleanup took place in the morning.
However, the Group’s actions in Kimolos were completed on Sunday at 09:30 with the presentation of the All For Blue Seminar by Mrs Katerina Topouzoglou, which for the second year followed our mission. All For Blue focuses on protecting the seas and sharks in particular through educational seminars where students receive a diploma of participation, and after the seminar once again the children were transported by bus to the beach of Psathi where they took part at the beach & underwater cleanup with great enthousiasm.
We are renewing our appointment where we will go again to the Aegean sea, with another mission to continue to offer the inhabitants of small societies and especially children, a love we receive many times and which feeds our efforts.
