After the ocean conservation seminar held at the High School of Kalymnos, beach and underwater clean up took place at the beach of Gefyra in Therma, in the framework of the environmental action of All For Blue in cooperation with the Region of South Aegean “Keep Aegean Blue”.
The clean up of the beach under the coordination of the founder of “All For Blue”, Katerina Topouzoglou, in the presence of Mr Ioannis Themelaros, was attended by students, teachers, parents and volunteer groups, while the ocean was cleaned up only by instructors of scuba diving and free diving.
Along with the volunteers of “All For Blue”, the students of the School of Dytiki Kalymnos, the Kalymnos Womens Divers Association, the PROTEAS Swimming Club, the coach Michalis Glynatsis, the Recreational Diving Instructor Pavlos Tavoularis participated in the event.
This mission is the biggest that has ever been done with motor boat the team started from the Cyclades and headed for Rhodes having already traveled several miles to the Aegean Sea.
