Shark Aware seminar – Hellenic Lifeguard Academy ENAK

After a call from Nikos Giovanidis, All For Blue spokeswoman Katerina Topouzoglou delivered a seminar on the protection of sharks and the marine ecosystem to more than 50 men and women of the Hellenic Lifeguard Academy – KNAE in Kallithea.
Lifeguards aged from 18 to 30 were impressed with the information and knowledge that Katerina shared with them about the creatures of the sea and promised to join her in the next beach cleaning action next summer.
Lifeguards, among other things, were impressed with the information that Katerina gave them about the sea life. Shark teeth are always an object that interest both young and older people.

The Lifeguard School ENAC – Hellenic Lifeguard Academy, was founded in 1996 by Nikos Giovanidis and deals exclusively with the development of lifesaving and rescue in Greece.
ENAC is today the largest educational body in the field of lifeguarding and one of the oldest lifeguard schools in Greece. It is recognized as a salvation school by the Ministry of Shipping – Island Policy (formerly the Ministry of Mercantile Marine) and the Coast Guard of Greece.
The duration of the seminar was 90 mins of which the 45 mins were for the awareness of the sharks and the other 45 mins for the protection of the marine ecosystem. At the end of the seminar, each participant received a worldwide recognized participation certificate from Project AWARE.
