Christina Georgiou
BIOLOGIST – SEMINAR INSTRUCTOR
Christina Georgiou is one of the biologists on our team. She studied Biology at the University of Patras and holds postgraduate degrees in Oceanography and Marine Environment Management (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and Technology and Informatics in Education (University of Thessaly).
Her scientific background is complemented by professional experience in both secondary education, where she has worked as a teacher, and in the management of environmental projects in terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
Although she grew up in the mountains, she developed a deep connection with the sea, which she experiences as a space of calm, freedom, and continuous inspiration. She firmly believes that cultivating respect and awareness for the marine environment starts with education.
As a volunteer member of our team, she contributes to the design and implementation of educational seminars and activities, bringing together knowledge, experience, and a passion for the ocean.
