312 kilos of waste removed by Mykonos students from Ftelia Beach

On September 25, 2025, All For Blue carried out yet another mission in Mykonos, featuring three educational seminars and one combined underwater and coastal cleanup.

The day began at Ano Mera High School, where 24 students participated with enthusiasm and full cooperation in the seminar. We warmly thank their teacher, Mr. George Zafeiropoulos, for his invitation and hospitality.

This was followed by two more seminars at Ano Mera Elementary School, with 93 children who eagerly attended and actively engaged in the discussion on marine biodiversity and ocean protection.

Later, together with 50 sixth-grade students and three teachers from the Elementary School, we headed to Ftelia Beach, where both a coastal and underwater cleanup took place. In total, 312 kilos of waste were removed from the seabed and the shoreline. Among the items collected were life jackets, inner tubes, plastic pipes, fishing gear, clothing, and even a kite — findings that impressed the children.

The cleanup was conducted with All For Blue’s reusable gloves and bags, strictly following the zero-waste protocol, while the underwater cleanup was carried out by our team’s certified divers.

This action was made possible with the support of Royal Caribbean and the South Aegean Region.
