All For Blue travelled to Rhodes for a very special mission, the launch of our brand new collaboration with Royal Caribbean. A partnership that kicks off with energy and enthusiasm, aiming to bring children closer to ocean conservation through hands-on experiences.
Our first stop was Kremasti Beach, where we combined an educational seminar with both coastal and underwater clean-up activities. The team visited the 2nd Kindergarten of Kremasti, where 90 young students joyfully took part in our environmental awareness seminar. Together, we explored marine life, learned about plastic pollution, and discussed how each of us can play a role in protecting our planet. Then, it was time for action. At the beach and seabed of Kremasti, our divers discovered and removed heavy debris, including discarded fishing nets, a large pipe, and various other waste materials. A highlight of the day was the rescue of an octopus, which had become trapped inside the pipe. Thankfully, it was safely released back into the sea.
This action marks the beginning of an important initiative, with upcoming stops in kindergartens across Santorini and Mykonos, as part of a wider program focused on environmental education and ocean awareness for young children. We warmly thank Royal Caribbean for their support, the teachers and students of the 2nd Kindergarten of Kremasti for their participation and enthusiasm, and everyone who contributed to the success of this first but certainly not the last action of our partnership.
