Shark Awareness Seminars

Ocean conservation seminar in Maldives, 2023

Our goal is to educate and inspire the new generation!

All For Blue’s seminar is designed to be simple and easy to understand, making it accessible to both a 6-year-old child and an adult. The aim of the seminar is to inform the public about the importance of human interaction with the marine ecosystem and to raise awareness about the significance of protecting our oceans. The seminar is conducted by certified members of All For Blue, along with the organization’s founder, Katerina Topouzoglou. The speakers bring their personal experiences from the field as they are:

  • biologists
  • veterinarians
  • environmentalists
  • scuba diving instructors

These are individuals with active roles in the marine environment. In the seminar, we discuss the importance of biodiversity and the role played by certain animal species in maintaining the balance of the marine ecosystem, such as dolphins, turtles, seals, and sharks. Participants also learn about the severity of the plastic pollution issue and ways to avoid plastics, as well as the importance of being conscious consumers.

The educational material of All For Blue is recognized by the Institute of Educational Policy and the Ministry of Education under the ID number: Φ1Α/38342/ΠΠ/42434/Δ7. (https://edu-gate.minedu.gov.gr/images/Egkekrimena_programmata/2023-2024/apofasi-vioma.pdf).
