All For Blue continued its environmental mission with great enthusiasm on the beautiful island of Santorini on October 8th, carrying out yet another impactful action dedicated to protecting the ocean and marine life.

A total of 150 students from the Primary School of Emporio participated in the educational seminars held at the Santorini Cultural Center, learning about the importance of sustainability, the vital role each of us plays in protecting marine ecosystems, and the idea that we are all equal before the sea.

Following the seminars, 50 students, together with their teachers, headed to Perissa Beach, where they took part in a coastal cleanup filled with energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Many volunteers also joined the effort, creating a wonderful atmosphere of collaboration and community spirit.

Among the items collected were some unusual finds, such as pieces of fishing nets, plastic bottles, wheels, bags, aluminum containers, cans, and even toys — discoveries that sparked meaningful conversations with the students about human impact on the environment.

The cleanup was conducted using reusable gloves and sacks provided by All For Blue, following the zero waste protocol, while the organization’s certified divers carried out the underwater cleanup.

All For Blue warmly thanks Mr. Nikos Katsipis, Deputy Mayor of Education of the Municipality of Thira, and Mrs. Maria Katsipi, President of the Local Community of Emporio, for their presence and valuable support.

Through actions like this, students come into direct contact with nature, learning how they can become true ambassadors of the marine environment and Heroes of the Blue — the change our planet needs.

This action was carried out with the support of the Royal Caribbean Group and the South Aegean Region.
