On October 7th, the All For Blue team visited the stunning island of Santorini, carrying out yet another impactful environmental action in collaboration with the Episkopi Gonias Primary School.

The day included two educational seminars and both a coastal and underwater cleanup.

In total, 240 students attended the educational seminar on marine conservation, while 42 sixth-grade students, accompanied by their principal and two teachers, actively participated in the coastal cleanup at Kamari Beach.

During the activity, 58 kilos of waste were collected from both the seabed and the shore. Among the findings were several unusual items such as car wheels, electronic cigarettes, plastic bottles, diapers, sunglasses, coffee cups, ribbons, and balloons.

What impressed the students most was the large car wheel retrieved from the seabed by our divers.

The cleanup was carried out using All For Blue reusable gloves and bags, following our zero waste protocol, while the underwater cleanup was performed by our certified diving team.

All For Blue would like to express its heartfelt thanks to Mr. Nikos Katsipis, Deputy Mayor of Education, Mr. Vlachas, Principal of the school, and all the teachers for their valuable collaboration and warm hospitality.

Through actions like this, students experience firsthand how they can become ambassadors of change, helping to protect the seas and coastlines of their islands.

This action was carried out with the support of Royal Caribbean and the South Aegean Region.
