Leros – Keep Aegean Blue

#KeepAegeanBlue continues in Leros, where 685 kgs (1.500lbs) of trash were removed from the ocean during the clean up of AllForBlue.
Among others, a bicycle, irons, a door, plastic bags, aluminum boxes, wheels, ropes, etc. were brought out of the water. The students from the local high school of Leros island participated with incredible enthusiasm in the action and cooperated with the divers of the port and diving center to remove the marine debris out of the water.
This is the biggest mission of underwater clean ups in Greece, which is in progress, in collaboration with the AllForBlue.org organization with the South Aegean Region.
At the underwater clean up in Leros island, 55 high school students participated, Katerina Topouzoglou (founder of All For Blue) with divers from the Port Police, mr. Yannis Themelaros, scuba divers and professionals from the Hydrovius diving center.

The #AllForBlue team continues its activities and seminars on other islands of the Dodecanese.
