A Plastic Ocean Film Screening | Mykonos, Greece

June 5th 2017, we had the pleasure of hosting neighbors, tourists and friends at Cine Mado in Mykonos Town to premier, for the first time in Greece, “A Plastic Ocean.”

The film is a documentary style and follows two explorers as they travel to some of the most remote parts of the world to expose and report the issues associated with plastic pollution and its impact on the environment.

The reactions of guests were exactly what we had hoped for. After understanding how serious this issue is and seeing the pollution that is already present in our oceans, they felt responsible to start contributing to prevent any further damage from happening!

There were many emotions felt and displayed throughout the evening. It started with pure shock, sadness and sensitivity when scenes of the trash and pollution were playing. Viewers couldn’t deny the truth that was right in front of them. But by the end of the evening, those sad emotions turned into positively charged attitudes, ready to conquer the pollution crisis!

Thanks to all who came out and participated!
