Christmas messages to protect the marine ecosystem, while reducing the use of plastics, had the opportunity the All For Blue team to pass on to kids, helping the next generation acquire eco sensitivity and habits.
In a festive atmosphere, we set up our kiosk at Christmas bazaars organized by several schools and educational institutions in Athens, Greece (Kessaris Schools, Deree, Hatzievi School, etc.)
In areas that were kindly given to us, we showed audiovisual material from underwater and beach cleanups, informed about the dangers of single use plastics ending up in the sea, how we can save sharks, sea turtles and fish from extinction and how we can protect ourselves and our health by making other choices.
Both children and adults showed particular preference for the stainless steel straws (instead of plastic) and the thermos (instead of plastic bottles) of All For Blue. At the same time, we, for our part, found Christmas crafts made by kids that impressed us, imaginative seasonal gifts and colorful ornaments.
